Abstract

European and international society is experiencing a very complex present from a political, social and cultural point of view. Marginalization and xenophobia can also be deconstructed through project about “European Memory” so it is extremely important to be able to "educate" memory, awareness, and re-humanizing to enhance that sense of citizenship. The European project «In Memoriam of Invisible Victims - commemorating the physically and mentally disabled mistreated by the totalitarian regimes» involved Italy, Hungary, Romania and Bulgaria for eighteen months (2014-15) and focused on the reinforcement of personal and collective memory, in order to build a European citizen aware and respectful of the differences.
