She has been the first Latin American women who gained the Nobel prize in 1945 for her poetic works. This article covers the research carried out by the author on site, in Chile, from the 15/11/2021 to the 15/01/2022. The result of this research comes from the resources of the archive of national library of Chile, located in Santiago where the author had the opportunity to see the full collection of the original manuscript and article written by Gabriela Mistral. Moreover, the resources of the digital database have been used as references in order to support the work of literature revision, in a critical-interpretative key. Gabriela Mistral’s works have been gathered so far in anthology in various thematic by different researchers, of which principally this article in based on. As a result, Gabriela Mistral is well known by the international scientific community for her poetic work. Most of her poetries have been translated as well in Italian language. Instead, she is less known for her pedagogical writings and the author sensed the urge to investigate this area of her work which deserve more attention. In order to explore the complexity of Gabriela Mistral’s pedagogy, the author have contextualized her biography and then has rethought her educational strategy through the ethic, aesthetic, spirituality and the way of the storytelling of the mistralian pedagogy.</span></p>}, number={2}, journal={Rivista di Storia dell’Educazione}, author={Biagi, Simona}, year={2022}, month={Nov.}, pages={47–62} }
